What we do

S.T.A.R.S. stands for Students Tackling At-Risk Situations. We chose this name because we feel that similar to stars, all youth deserve to shine bright! We have designed 3 programs that cover common at-risk situations, such as bullying, identity development, and drug or alcohol abuse. All programs integrate independent thinking from mentees and guidance. Our activities provides a chance for all mentees to be creative and uncover unique parts of themselves.

Here at S.T.A.R.S Youth Mentoring feel that it's never too early to work on professional skills. This is why each program includes a "Professional Development" week. Programs will be 4 weeks each with one session per week. All sessions will be VIRTUAL via a video conference platform such as Google Meet, or Zoom.

ATTN:

S.T.A.R.S Youth Mentoring does not provide psychological services for individuals or families. If you or your child are in immediate danger or experiencing thoughts of self-injury please contact your local authorities. You matter.
